Haiku Operating System

 So, like on one hand I’m excited by the possibility I can try this Open Source clone of BeOS on a laptop, but OTOH there’s something rather sad  bout these old BeOS true believer columns by Scot Hacker, now a Mac user IIRC.

 Nothing against enthusiasm for the product, but he hyped it to the point I think he should have been allowed to complain BeOS users thought their favorite OS would take over the world by the time it was clear the Be Inc ship was sinking. The GPL, Linux, and Open Source bashing hasn’t aged well either.
